About the event
Double bassist Harmeet Kaur Virdee brings together rising artists from across Canada in her quartet. Featuring Cale Fladager (harmonica), Ian Spring (guitar), and Aidan Miller (drums). The four met while attending the University of Toronto Jazz Program. Informal jams quickly turned into a group that explores the mysteries and beauty of the world through the band’s original compositions.
For this set the quartet will be joined by special guest Ruthie Ha (saxophone) and Karl DeJong (drums). They will perform a collection of original music showcasing the ensemble members’ unique compositional voices.
This show is Pay What You May with all contributions going to the performers.
