About the event
Harmeet Kaur Virdee is a double bassist, composer, and improviser from Surrey, BC. She is a graduate of the VSO Performance Prep Program (2022), and is currently continuing her music studies at the University of Toronto. While in Toronto she met Cale Fladager (harmonica), Ian Spring (guitar), and Aidan Miller (drums). Since the first time the four played together there was an instant connection. Bringing together musicians from across Canada the quartet celebrates the compositional voices of the band members.
